USCIS Reopened the Registration to Permit Those who Missed the Previous Registration

Dr. William:

I heard that USCIS reopened the Special Registration for certain nationals, does it means that those who missed the previous registration can appear for registration at USCIS local office this time?

A:

Registration during this period shall be considered timely under the original notices. USCIS notice is effective on January 27, 2003. Aliens described in this notice may register and provide additional information to the Immigration and Naturalization Service on or before February 7, 2003.
